水曜サ活

Winter has arrived suddenly in Tokyo, and today I found myself at Shin-Egota Station, a place I had never visited before. I've long admired the work of Imai Kentarou's office, and one of my personal goals is to visit as many of his creations as I can.

Egota-yu doesn't feature an outdoor bath or any particularly unique elements, but its design stands out for its simplicity and sophistication. Despite not being large or luxurious, the space has a grounding, relaxing atmosphere that left a lasting impression on me.

If I were to comment further, I'd mention their sauna. While it's well-designed, it felt extremely dry for my taste. That said, Egota-yu is definitely worth a visit. For fans of Imai Kentarou's work, it's an absolute must-see.

On a side note, there was a child swimming in the carbonated bath, and I couldn't understand why her mother didn't address this behavior. While the bathhouse is meant to be a space for everyone, it's not a place for swimming.
