Here we are again, Totonou Thursday!
I am also a single man, so I need a single bath. I heard SaunaDojo has a 9.5 degree bath, so I headed to Shibuya to find the calm amongst the storm. And I found it!
After doing the normal preparations ( locker/ shower etc.) I walked into the sauna and was hit with a wwwwwaaaaalllup. Whoah! What is this heat? I checked the wall- 108 degrees, and 40% humidity.
Many men in the sauna had their towel totally wrapped around their face, like some kind of sauna mummy! And here I was crying "Mummy, this is almost too hot!". My heart was beating nicely at 140pm after 6minutes- I like to get to 170. Then the aufguss came in- oooh I never thought I'd say this, but I couldn't take the heat.
Bucket shower and into the single bath! 2 minutes in and I'm feeling free. Into the infinity chair and looking at big Hokusai- like waves painted around the room.Take me to the storm I'm ready! I am the calm before the storm. Let me surf the dopamine wave.
I come out red faced like a Nagano monkey.And a Nagano monkey needs a Nagano beer- so it's time for Aoi Oni. Nextstop-YokohamaSkySpa!
