This place is truly at its best on blizzard days.

Had an absolutely unforgettable sauna experience today at Terume Kanazawa.

I’ve been coming here for a long time, but today was on another level. I was alone in the classic sauna when a staff member came in to add aroma for the löyly. We casually chatted about the nice scent, and then he suddenly said:

“If you’d like, I can give you a little Aufguss.”

A little, he said…
But it turned into a full-on guerrilla Aufguss.

He brought an original towel, his own speaker, and delivered a proper, professional show. For a while it felt like a private performance just for me — absolutely luxurious.

Then people started coming in and it became a shared guerrilla moment for everyone, which somehow made it even better.
Unexpected, warm, communal… everything just clicked.

And the BGM?
THIS. IS. ME. from The Greatest Showman.
Bro, I ascended. Eyes rolled back. Transcendence achieved.

A place I’ve always loved suddenly felt like my chill home again.
What a day. What an experience.

It's popular and crowded, but the staff's thorough efforts to maintain the brand foster a great environment.
