Ashinomaki Prince Hotel’s tent sauna was overall an awesome experience! The staff was super friendly and hospitable, and the location was beautiful.
We reserved a two-hour session, and as an extra also purchased the peppermint and lavender aroma oil (these are the two options provided). The price was very reasonable, especially considering the fact that the space was totally private and no other groups were present.
The sauna brand was Morzh, and the temperature easily exceeded 110°C. The water bath was cold enough for me, I would guess it was around 20°C. The staff was kind enough to adds some ice to the bath when we arrived. If you prefer a colder bath, I’m sure they can accommodate for that.
The resting space was awesome, super spacious and plenty of seating options. In total there were two full-flat chairs, two Coleman reclining chairs, two hammocks and two regular chairs.
This was my first experience using a tent sauna, and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who’s thinking of of trying it out. I can’t wait to go back! 😄
